The trail passes through or near towns and villages with hotels, B&Bs, cafes, and shops. However parts of it are quite rural and it is essential to plan accommodation in advance at any time of year.
Check that cafes and pubs are open when you plan to walk as some are seasonal.
There is a large range of styles of accommodation along the trail from Camping and Glamping locations, Camper Vans, B & B’s, Village Hotels, restored Mill, timber eco Cabins, Air B & B’s to more upmarket options in the urban locations – there is something to suit everybody. Accommodation styles will vary according to your daily schedules and where you start and finish each day.
