Self Booking Option

Please be aware that it is essential to book your accommodation ahead of time.

You should also confirm that everywhere you’d like to go (lunch stops, tourist attractions etc.) is open on the day of the week / time of year you are walking. Many premises are closed on Mondays / Tuesdays and opening hours and dates do fluctuate which prevents us giving up-to-date and accurate information on the website.

For Itinerary options click here.

For accommodation list and self booking information please click here.

Please check with Accommodation at time of booking if they offer a facility to transfer you to and from the Trail, especially if they are some distance off the Trail. Also enquire if they have a facility to transfer your luggage for your arrival at your next Accommodation. If you are cycling, it is wise to check Bike storage arrangements at each Accommodation.

Please note: As the Trail is rural there are few public transport options and taxis need to be booked well in advance.

Some Taxi Providers offer a variety of services, private transfers from and to the Airport, moving of baggage daily, transfer to accommodation if it is off the trail, comfort / support across the trail i.e. available to respond to a call if someone needs support or to finish a day early.
